I have heard that the ice is not so good right now because of the amount of snow on top of it. Is this true? I would imagine that given the weight of the snow on it, there will be a fair amount of water that comes up through the hole when you drill it. Looking to go to one of three places....wagers, point anne, or bayside. If anyone has been, can you let me know how the walk out will be, or whether the ice is decent?

I would have to think that with the amount of ice in most places, that no amount of snow is going to have any effect on it.
Just my opinion.
