I was there Sunday and wondered why it was scarce..till I drilled holes. 5-6" at best, east end of Forsters. Ministry came out to do survey....on foot, left sleds closer to launch. Anyway, marked a few in the a.m. Landed one, lost one at the hole. Drifts were crazy. Don't think I'll be going out from there again this season. Hope that helps

I went out to deseronto today. I was originally planning to go to the bridge, however when I got there it had looked like no one had been there, and the guy at the bait shop said he has not seen anyone out there the past few days. so I went infront of the park about 300 yards, even there where there is current but not as much at the bridge, there was ice varying from 5-7 inches.

Earlier this afternoon I was out on the ice on the Napanee River near the outlet to Mohawk Bay. The snow wasn't overly deep but there was quite a lot of water on top of the ice. There was a good two inches of slush between the ice surface and the bottom edge of the snow. I didn't go out into Mohawk Bay so I can't confirm the same conditions there. It was however, not easy to spud so I got off the ice without going very far. I hope that helps anyone who is thinking about heading out there.

Ice is not very thick out in the middle. Stay away from the Two by sixes out there. Massive hole.
