Just a quick note that for information and conditions at County Shores check-out our Facebook Page. We regularly report on there how the fishing has been and what the conditions are. I have seen a few posts on here inquiring about this and you can get your questions answered on our facebook page. To get to our facebook page go through the link on our website at

For those not familiar with us ... we offer 4 types of minnows (both Muds and Shiners), Tackle, Pay Parking at the shore, Heated Washrooms, Coffee and Snacks, Chili and Soup on Weekends and Accommodation rentals.
To save you the time for now ... Ice Conditions are good at the Buoy Q42 (the Red Buoy) and there have been a number of snow machines in and out over the last 4 or 5 days that have packed the trail to the red buoy in really well. I think it would now be driveable with a 4-wheeler ... provided you didn't weigh it down with too much gear??
There were fish caught here on on Sunday and Monday with at least one person claiming he got his limit. We have not seen any real "hogs" caught for about a week.
Tight Lines!
