Quinte Fishing

Just curious as I'll be heading out to Merlands and the BoQ for the first time this year with,,,,,my wife, parents and friends.

Looking forward to a greast weekend and make up for the lack of fishing this past weekend as I had to work a trade show.

Just wanted to read what has been happening and what's been working.

PS - I'll be in an 18ft Sylvan Pro Fisherman (grey/black) staying at Merlands with a maroon Jeep Cherokee and I"ll most likely be out till around 2am if not later.

Was out today and looked around and saw a few fish.

Being at Merland Park, I'd work Picton Bay HARD, Fish the weed lines with spinner and with cranks. Casting from the weeds out would be a suggestion too.

The bite has been off for the last while from what I can gather.

What weekend? Next weekend 25-26th?
