Hats off to those guys for helping her. Thank goodness they were there at the right time. People need to stop putting others in danger.

Its the usual problem people see a truck or five that are out there and think its safe. The east side is always dangerous on frenchmans due to current and lake ontario

I wonder if they were fishing? With the size of that bay you wonder why someone would even consider driving?

I'm surprised a few didn't go through on the Bay this year. I was in Deseronto just after Christmas, and was on 11 inches of ice. Roughly 7 black and 4 white, and there was 4 or 5 full size trucks bootin around out there. Was kinda shocked!!!

So how does the removal work? I know the woman will have to pay the expenses. Just wondering how they go about getting it out? Do they leave it until the ice is out or try to get it now? I just ask because obviously if the ice can't withstand a vehicle it's not going to be able to hold equipment to remove the car. That being said it's good to hear there we're good people around to help them out. Frenchmans is a nice little bay. Fished it for the first time this year and caught a hog of a pike. can't wait to go back.
