Have got a few extra rods laying around, a berkley lighting rod combo and two ugly sticks (6.6 & 7') with spinning reels, all 3 in med action, all 3 in good shape. I just have enough med action rods and looking get some med/heavy w/bait casters for bass fishing the heavy weed beds.
Do any shows or fishing stores do trade ins, or get togethers for trades, or even can they be donated to a outdoors program for kids fishing. They r just to good to leave in a corner to gather dust.
Thanks 4 any info
Cheers Rob

I believe, through this board, there is a police foundation that works with kids and fishing.

Pat Comeau maybe?

I'm sure they would appreciate any donations you can provide.

That's correct Steve and I am sure Mr. Comeau could find them a good home. Good for you Rob as your offer will make some kid a very happy camper.... Fred...

Hey Moose.... that's a little harsh, don't ya think?? I don't know what part you missed, but "Always Hopeful" was thanking you guys for the information you gave him. It seems that he was unsure about the board members user name, and that he's a little unfamiliar with computers, as he was trying to do a search.

No.....somebody EDITED edited his comments when he realized he was wrong......so the hole conversation isn't there.

I don't need to be called a jackass for my answering his question then having him remove it to look like the good guy.

Moose my comment was not aimed at your response about him being a member of the police, I apologize if u thought it was and understand your second post. I had tried to find Pat's name under the membership heading, did not know how to sort by spelling until I received a text, it spelled out how to sort and short cut to the (begins with P) section I needed. My frustration was about the PM's I got that just kept saying the name and gave no helpful info. I am not a computer genius nor the son of one. Sorry 4 any confusion and heat u took over this post, hope today is a better day. I did get hold of Pat and will be dropping off the gear for some kids that are part of the program.
Cheers Rob

Always Hopeful.... I am very happy you are putting your extra gear to good use, I am sure the kids will love it. Your apology accepted but I am done with this forum. I am not a big time fisherman but do enjoy getting out when I can so am not able to help with fishing tips or hot spots but will help out with other questions. I now see why others have left this forum that had alot more to give than me.....if your not with the IN crowd you a nobody....tight lines everyone and stay safe this is my last comment and post on here.....

Moose

I must've misunderstood your comment Moose...Still pretty unclear though...If your comment was directed at the guy who edited his post, why would you be telling him to stick his gear up his A** when it wasn't his gear to begin with???

Anyhow, Always Hopeful...I'm glad you found a good home for your extra gear!!!
