We are going to be spending the spring summer and fall on the Trent between locks 6 and 7 ( Iroquois Trail Campground)and would be interested in knowing what to expect fishing wise. For the past 5 years we have been on Lake St Clair. We have fished Rice Lake a lot... is the river similar? We like to target bass , walleye and perch. Not worried about muskie.. caught enough of those to last me a lifetime.
Also, what kind of water depth are we looking at? Are there any charts available showing the river depths?
Now all we need is spring... sorry ice fishermen.

For papercharts #2021 Murray Canal to Healy Falls is the one you want. I have a friend who fishes that section for Bass and pickerel and seems to do well. That area is covered on all the Navionics chips for chartplotters as well as the phone app. I only fish muskie and will never have enough. More More More Bigger Bigger Bigger

Pm me if you would like. I have all the maps and fish that area a lot! Bass, Muskie, Pike, Walleye. I can show ya where to get them all. I fish a tournament in that section every year and spend time after that there in the boat and on the ice.

It's an invitational. You have to talk to the toll troll to get in.

I have yet to meet said toll troll lol... and again, like I said I've never seen enough people fishing in boats at one time to even think it was a tournament. Lived here and fished here almost every day for 4 years. Anyway... if the troll happens to see me out on the water, I'd love to get to know him and other area fishermen. Cheers
