Relax guys, a week of warm weather and wind and it will be bye bye ice on the big lake. Still a month till opener. Now having said that... on this day last year I was fishing a back lake in a boat that is still totally ice covered as of this morning. But even then I still think by mid April most lakes will be open, once they start to break away from shore they go fast and this rain and wind will get the process going.

Does anyone know if the ice is out at Finkle's now? I was hoping to make a trip there on Friday.
