Today was a beautiful day on the water.

Air is still cold from the cold surface temps, but they are approaching 42 degree's in some spots.

We worked hard from sunrise till mid afternoon.

Rods remained silent until early afternoon when the sun peaked and the water became a little more alive.

Finally we found a stretch of productive water and were able to hammer out a coupla nice browns, the first being the biggest of the year... Soon after we got lucky and came across our first King of the year.....caught on bass tackle....101 GTE and Crucial Crankbait rod were really put to the test.

Storms and J11's did the damage today. :D

The south shore is slowly heating up...time to take advantage of it.

Good show Steve. The one Brown looks a little beaten up. Must have been a blast bringing in that king.
