spawning ??

just wondering if anyone has any news on the spawning eyes in the Trenton Belleville and brighton areas?
are they done or is it happening now or do you think it will be over be4 opener? any info is greatly appreciated as usual..trying to decide if im coming up for opener or the following weekend. thnx

I had a look on Sunday but never saw any in the Trent River below the #1 dam. The Trent water level is rising right now with all the water coming down from the north while the Moira, Napanee and salmon levels are on their way down.

I stopped down at the Moira on Sunday and there was nothing running at all... water was really high and fast. They best hurry up !

We have had them all along our shore last week. They are gone now. Maybe it's the same with the rivers, or is it possible that they avoid the rivers with the fast flow and choose to shore spawn instead? There were way more on our bank than there were last year.
