Help in finders

Hey I need a bit of advice from members please, in finding a buddy a gps finder combo. Buddy is working in the middle of nowhere in Saskatchawan he asked me to help him pick a decent unit as he has no internet nor accsess to any outdoor store so when he flys home for the opener i will have a unit to install for him as time will be an issue. He is looking for a 7 inch combo, I run all Raymarine so I am not up to date with any other manufactures. any good advice would be appreciated. can I get a unit in the $800 range? Thanks so much. I'd definitely give Radioworld a call.... Explain what you are looking for, price range, etc....and they should be able to hook you up with something. I believe there may also be a discount if you mention you are a member on this Forum....

Hi Tom, I use lowrance and have for years, not saying their the best it's just I am most familier with their operating systems. I have both the HDS 10 and 7. I use the HDS 7 for ice fishing also. As for the best bang for the buck in my opion the elite 7 is hard to beat. Hope you have a great openner up their. We did not get up this year for any ice trips. We did do pretty well down hear in some of the bays off of the big lake for big eyes. Hope to hook up with you in the fall. Take care and stay safe.
