Quinte Fishing

Just out to Hay Bay for the evening and see some friends for the last time this year. They were fishing yesterday ALL DAY, from Thompsons to the Marina into Picton Bay and trolled from Cement plant to Thompsons, Shermans and the Shermans Launch area.

Tough fishing - water temp reported at 62deg F the turn should be soon.

Lots of luck to those out the long weekend - let everyone know whats' happening.

Hey Superdad,I sure hope the turn is soon.We will be up Oct 21 for 4 fun filled days of fishing.Thanks for the reports and keep them coming.DanS

My neighbour and I were out from about 10 am to 4pm. We motored down to the ferry but marked nothing and than tryed to troll back. By then the wind was up out of the west & south west so it was kind of wet.....marked a few fish west of the ferry in 50-60 ft depths but no takers. Saw Fishfinder on the water but he pulled a little after noon. We finally had to motor back to Picton Bay but no luck there either in calmer waters. Water temp 61 degrees.
