This will be short from the Napanee Library.
Fished Friday evening - my Dad landed one walleye - 20 inches - in the middle of Hay Bay near the new yellow marker with a Uzick Spinner.
Saturday, My Dad and my wife and I hit Long Reach - Hit a pair one off a CC Shad and the other on a Flicker Shad, then we hit Shermans with Uzick spinners and worms and hit four more eyes.
Sunday, Laker John and I were supposed to try for Browns, but I convinced him that the walleyes were biting. He and my Dad and I hit Long Reach again trolling with the boards, but no luck at all. Motored to Thompsons Cove with Uzick Spinners and made two passes and we landed six eyes in 55 mins.
Took my Dad back to Camp and John and I hit Long Reach again, this time we figured out the pattern and we went six for eight, biggest was 23 inches. Not a bad day landed 12 fish.
Weekend total was 19 walleyes.
The fish are there BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
