I recall Leonard's Quarry north of Kingston had experienced succes in raising walleye fingerlings a few years back to the point that MNR was interested in what they were doing differently. I also understood that MNR was sourcing walleye fingerling's from them for stocking in local lakes. I'm not sure, but driving by there recently it kind of looks like this is being run as a quarry operation again and may have been taken over by Crukshank. Anybody know anything about this or why MNR wouldn't be using the knowledge gained from Leonard's experience.
