I would for sure, clean and repack the bearing. If you don't have trailer brakes this only takes about a hour.If the grease is black inside and show signs of water I'd do them for sure. . If your not going to clean them at least jack up trailer and feel for bearing play, if there's play present your goin to have to do it!!
Don't let it go or it will come back to bite ya, at the worse time and place.

Any questions on how to do bearing or anything msg me and I help ya.( use high temp bearing grease)

I use marine grease from CTC for my wheel bearings and fittings on my outboards.

I rebuilt my trailer last fall and used a product called Krazy Grease it is a bit more expensive but says it resists wash out and extends the re-greasing intervals. It is sold at Princess Auto.

Go to youtube and search for repack trailer wheel bearing. There are lots of step by step videos that show every step of the process.

Use a high quality wheel bearing grease only. The bearing buddies when the proper pressure is applied to them are free of water. Just don't over pressurize as this will blow out a seal and you will have trouble.
There is an alternate bearing system that I currently have-liquid lube bearings, it's an oil based product that is in a sealed chamber. 5 years running now and very happy.
