Well headed out to Lake Ontario for what I thought was gonna a chase for smallies. I ended catching my first ever Muskie. Weighed in a touch under 20lbs. Released back into the wild for another to catch some day! ImageImageImageImage

Congrats on your first Ski Marco. Nice clean healthy fish. Gotta love it. 8)
Only thing better than catching them is watching them swim away. :D

I was fishing smallmouth. Well trying to. Caught it on a spinnerbait by no means was I targeting the Muskie. A nice bonus fish for sure.

We were up shallow on a spot we've fished for a decade and for the first time ever saw a toothy monster about the same size.

A good sign for the muskie fishery!
