Does anyone know where to buy an ipilot remote battery? It's a CR2450N. I've tried a CR2450 with no luck, and have read online that it needs that "N" designate or it won't work.... I hope that's the case and my remote isn't fried! Any help would be very much appreciated.

Go to page 32 and scroll down. CR2450 is the battery you need.

Awesome. Thanks guys. I had a friend drive to Ottawa looking for one for me today. Total battery had the N variant after checking multiple stores. We'll see of it works in the morning! I wish the just used AA's or something that I can get at any corner store

I just recently purchased a Minn Kota with I-pilot, and it came with a CR2450 battery...No "N" It is a Sony battery and works fine. If you read the link that tomfoolery posted it states in the manual that Panasonic batteries will not work.

Just went out to buy a backup battery and Energizer also works. Stay away from the Dollar Store batteries and it seems like they'll be fine....

read the reviews before you waste your money on walmart batteries.

The batteries are not made by Walmart....they are Duracells, Energizer, Sony etc.... The store where I bought the Energizer battery said they will replace the battery if it dies within 3 years. Just not sure if it's necessary searching all over the place for this "N" battery, when you can get name brand batteries pretty much anywhere.

Also, it's a 6 dollar battery... not really a big deal.
