Not sure of the exact weight of the fish, cause the batteries had died on my digital scale, but I had a spring loaded scale that went to 20 pounds, and when I put the fish on it, it hit the bottom of the scale pretty quick.... 8O

That's the other Quinte Gold - not many of that one shown on the board - Great Fish - amazing size.

They Pull as hard as anything in the bay.

They pull hard for sure!!! Thought at first it may have been a huge pike or Sheepie that everybody has been talking about in that area lately. I had just switched the flouro leader the night before from 8lb to 15lb because I had ran out of the 8. Not sure if the 8lb would have made it through the battle. A good test for the 'ol double uni-knot for sure....lol

That was awesome I couldn't log in fast enough to check this out then its a massive carp I love catching those beast fight just as hard as a salmon
