Tampering Trailer Lock

We were out fun fishing on the BOQ. We launch our boat at Trenton, Ontario street and Baptiste street public launch. When we came back from the day fishing we notice our trailer lock is broken and this weekend it happen again. This is two weekend in a row and two broken trailer locks. If you launch at Trenton please make sure you check trailer lock before you leave. Someone is tampering with the trailer lock.

This has happened to me in Deseronto parking lot and at Sydenham Lake in Sydenham. I now have now a very solid locking device

It has also happened to me at deseronto last year. Good thing I had tight safety chains on. I now also have a lockable receiver pin arrangement . There is no doubt that there is someone out there that wants to cause others to have accidents.

There is an a$#hole for every situation it seems. Thinking it would cause someone a pain in the butt. Probably not thinking someone could potentially die. Bring back lawn darts and the problem will solve itself.

I live in Trenton. Bunch of Teenage kids with nothing better to do hang out at boat ramp all summer long.
Just this week someone had set large fire on ramp. Do not know who it was.
Seen Police talking with the Kids this week.

I suggest just staying away from this Boat ramp. Try using the one at centennial park.

That's where I go.

Some of these kids need a good a$$ whoopin'. I make it a point if I see any person lurking around a launch with out a rod in hand to give em the old stare down to let them know good intentions or not, I'm watching you. I grew up in a rough area and sometimes you have to confront suspicious people just to be sure cause i'll be damned if i let some little $h1t tell me where to fish.
