When do Salmon stage at Wellington?

My chances of getting out for summer salmon is quickly evaporating (currently moving to a new house and surprise surprise, it's taking longer than expected).

Anyone have a prediction on the best two weeks to target salmon in the lake as they prepare to enter West Lake?

Any information on fall patterns would be appreciated as I've never fished this area in the fall.

Depending on water temp, typically from late September or early October. Who knows after this year, could be next week

Anybody remember fishing them off the beach Between West Point and Wellington in the middle of the summer. I remember the day because we got spooled and had to chase it till another boat cut in front and cut us off. I don't remember what brought them in so shallow, must have been a fluke of temp and baitfish to get them in.
