Anyone using electric downriggers?

Just curious if anyone uses electric downriggers? I'm looking at getting a pair shortly but in all honesty, I've enjoyed using manuals when I've had the chance.

The only benefit I can see from the electrics is if you're fishing alone with more than one rod. I can see it being handy there. I'm looking at a pair of used electrics but only because the price is right.

Any other benefits you can think of? Or for that matter, disadvantages??

pure and simple....faster, easyer, you can multy task when you have electrics, fighting a fish , bring up the rigger at the same time,you can be setting one riggger while the other is on it's way down...once you use electric down riggers ...you'll wonder why you didn't have the nbefore.....do your self a favore....get Scottie pro packs....they are the best, I have 2 walkers, and will be putting four Scotties pro packs with 60" telescoping booms on for the Spring on a new boat I hope
