Well, I tried my hand at Brooke Trout fishing for the first time yesterday, not to much luck. Caught one all day around 1lb. Started on Moira Rd and walked down to the Trail of 2 Lakes and walked through Rawdon Creek for a few hours. Went up to the 2nd train bridge and then back down to the 62 Hwy. Water was very cold.

With that said, does anyone know any areas around here that one can fish from shore in little creeks for any trout? Any help would be appreciated. I don't mind driving within an hour max from the Belleville area to try my hand at some Brookies.

Try Cold Creek where it flows through Goodrich-Loomis Conservation Area near Norland (Cty Rd 30). Specs and browns. Mitch
