Hello Walleye Anglers,

WANTED: Volunteer Anglers to Participate in the 2014 Fall Bay of Quinte Walleye Angling Diary Program
This is the 3rd year of the Volunteer Angler Diary Program. About 20 or so volunteer anglers have participated in previous years’ programs and I am hoping to recruit a few more Volunteers for the 2014 program. Volunteers will be provided with a Diary and instructions on how to record each of their Walleye fishing trips during the fall of 2014 on the Bay of Quinte. Volunteer anglers return their diary to me at the end of the fishing season. All data are then summarized and reported on. To get an idea of the sort of information collected and reported on, please refer to our 2013 Lake Ontario Management Unit Annual Report (Section 3.5) available at: http://www.glfc.org/lakecom/loc/mgmt_unit/index.html

For more information and to volunteer for the 2014 program please contact:
If you have not seen the report on last fall’s 2013 diary program, it can be found on page 74 (Section 3.5) in our 2013 Annual Report available at: http://www.glfc.org/lakecom/loc/mgmt_unit/.

Thanks very much for your help,

Jim

Exactly Dan....if you're going to be out there anyway, why not pass on some information. I hesitated last year to volunteer, because I may only make it down 2 or 3 times in the fall, but Jim explained to me that any info is appreciated. So for the guys that live "out of town" and may only make 1 or 2 trips out, the MNR still values your input. It's very simple, and only takes a few minutes to fill out the log book.
