Hey folks I am not looking for hot spots just wondering if any of you have had much luck catching spring time lakers from shore.

Wellington is good, you could also try Lakeport using heavy weights and roe sacs.

Why wait until spring, the season opens Dec1 and the fish should be in the shallows after the spawn. I don't fish from shore for them but have heard they will come in by the Millhaven ferry dock. Good luck

I forgot to mention, there is a hefty toll you have to pay to a guy named Tim in order to fish from the Millhaven ferry dock LOL.
Tim, you need to get out in the boat (or on the ice) with me again buddy, it's been too long.

Pay the Ogre his toll....lol (actually been out in the boat more than on the dock this year, save that for the windy evenings) You know my schedule, drop me a line or call anytime been too long...
