Hello,

Myself and a few buddies will be making our first trip of the fall next weekend to try our luck, fishing the afternoon of Friday, 14th and all day Saturday and Sunday.

We will be staying at Westlake Willows.

If anyone is interested in swapping cell numbers to communicate on the water to find the big ones, or wants to meet up after fishing for a cold beverage feel free to drop me a pm.

Best of luck fishin' and be safe

JimW

good luck too ya Jim,
we are also down for our first trip of the season staying at merland park from Wednesday to Sunday
hope fully the long range forecast holds for both of us, it is looking spectacular!!!!
Friday 5km winds and Saturday 10km please do not change lol
Thursday looking a little iffy but we are going to bringing our float rods and will hit the ganny for the day for some steelies if we are unable to get out in the boat. I am not a big fan of rough water, makes for a very long day fighting winds waves and equipment
cheerz

Walleye tournament on the 15th. Entre fee is very affordable and looks like a lot of the board members will be there, surf back a few post and look for the 10 annual derby. Should be a good day for a good cause, planning on entering with Tylercurt, should be a get together at the weigh in.
Cheers Rob

Thanks guys, I don't mind the cold, jsut the wind.

We may enter the derby, still finalizing our plans. Next weekend might be my only trip of the fall, so not sure if I want to stop fishing for 2pm weigh in.

We're also staying at Merland from Wed to Sat this week. Perhaps we can exchange cell numbers for updates.

We'll be in a 20' Legend xcaliber (Black & white).

See you on the dock!

:) :) :) :)

Very tough on Friday November 14th. Six lines, spread all over the place and at all depths, from 7am til after 2pm, and not a single walleye. One sheepshead saved us from getting skunked.

Hey Pete.

I was out with Jim.

Friday we got into them pretty good.. Too bad we were running out of daylight.. action was fast and furious.

Saturday and Sunday were slow totaling 5 walleye and one Sheep... in hind sight we should have pulled an all nighter on Firday.. :(
