I was disappointed when I learnt rapala wasn't making my favourite
fall quinte bait anymore, the Trolls To 20 minnow.
Think I found out why, had the nose piece come unglued on one during the summer,
or maybe it is a sales thing ?
This happens with tail dancers too, but Rapala hasn't discontinued that line.

Anyone have insight as to why rapala stop making TTM-20s ?
Also does anyone add more glue or something like that, to their taildancers ?
This ungluing seems to happen after about 2 years of use from my experience.

Guess I'll cherish the TTM-20s I have, a bit like blueberry muffin Manns ?.
Seen a few on Ebay but will continue checking local tackle shops for leftovers on the shelves.

Like reef runners but have more luck with Rapalas. :)

Brent

I think they are still making them and selling in usa. the lip issue happens to all series of cranks for some reason. I too love the ttm-20.

Reef Runner has a new series with similar flat sides. It is probably a sales thing

I have found them online, but have been checking stores relentlessly with no luck. It's definetely my favourite go to lure.

I've found that the stores in my area are not carrying much in the way of walleye trolling baits. Colour selection is minimal as is the number and variety of baits available. That's checking a couple of times a week since September. Several baits just don't seem to be made anymore. That Trolls to is a great bait, a shame if it is discontinued. Not even on the Rapala site.

Oh ya...my go to bait (i know your laughing Bob) I wonder if they are discontinued completely or just in Canada? If you have a US connection then they may be able to order them. Did that with the minnow rap

Funny Brent... I have a couple and probably two years ago ran them a little more than I have since. But they didn't really do all that well over certain RR's, Yozis and other Raps. Will give it a shot again if the weather this season ever lets us out there.

You are in the Yak though... and maybe it's your stealth or variable speeds that work well with that lure.

Found some at a tackle shop in Smiths Falls and a box store in Ottawa has some.
You have a stash Big Mac ?
TTMs were "assembled in Estonia ", think they drink vodka there and
they did a fine job assembling.
Great to hear Reefer coming out with a flat side minnow, got to luv
the Flash off of a flat side.
TTm-20s just part of the arsenall, different fav. lures at different places and different light
conditions.
Just happy to have a stash, and feel prepared to better this yak eye ( Caught on a TTM-20 ) from last year.

Just waiting for a window of opportunity. :)

I'd say it's the other way around. That would be a mistake Rapala! Good thing I have a few of them in the box.
