Got out today for some fall walleyes and wasn't dissappointed. We had two nice fish, a 4.5lb and a 6lb fish. Also a nice sheepshead and a 2lb silver bass.
Got one walleye on the rigger, 68 over 115 on a pink rip shad. Got the other walleye on a blue silver rip shad of the board behind 4 colours of lead core. Both walleyes were caught east of Keith shoal on the deep hole
Water temp was 49-50 , virtually no wind. Water was like glass.

Great report, thanks for sharing!

We're traveling to Quinte tomorrow to give it a try for a few days.

Tight Lines!

We made the drive from Burlington and fished Sunday and Monday ... while at camp we heard from some of the Quebec guys that fish were being caught in front of the cement plant so we tried that on Sunday morning .. no fish .. after lunch we fished from Thompson's and Sherman's and up towards Desoronto ..no fish .. On Monday we ran up to the gap and fished by the smoke stacks and got two big fish ... unfortunately both sheephead ... after lunch we trolled again by the cement plant without any success and towards the end of the day we jigged both points again and all I got were perch ... Still 2 great days on the water ... monday morning was just a beautiful morning and water was like glass... I ll be back next week to try to figure it out !

BigAl, thanks for the info. Hope the water cools some more.

Frenchie. Myself and some friends , also from Burlington, are heading up a week Friday. I hope to fish the points and by the ferry. Maybe see you out there. I will be in a white and blue 19 ft smokercraft putting in at Deseronto..

Regards

I wanted to head up again on Tuesday Nov 18 and fish 4 days but I'm a little concerned about high wind and waves. Some sites are calling for 35-45 km/h winds when we're supposed to be out. I'll keep an eye on the weather and when the forecast shows lighter winds and more favorable weather that's when I think we'll head down . It may end up being on Friday an we 'll fish the weekend ... I just hope my fishing friends can change up their schedules.. If we do go on the weekend we'll probably put in at Desoronto as well.
