Has anyone had any luck catching walleye in the bay or near the cement factory? Or are they still scattered and still in lake Ontario?

 I didn't know that oleprincecraft2 and guest were such fishing pros!!! To me it didn't seem like the fish were in the bay by recent experience and by some of the responses on the post. To me, if your fishing still on ythe other side of the ferry, isn't that still considered Lake Ontario?

oleprincecraft2...can't wait to get you in the boat - sitting in your livingroom reading fishing threads is making you cranky.

Lone Ranger,

The area east of the Ferry all the way to the Gap is called Aldophus Long Reach and is considered part of the Bay of Quinte. The reason some think of it as Lake On is because the ferry is the designated landmark where 2 lines may be used eastwards. That regulation was implemented with the Lk. Ont salmon/trout trollers in mind. I know this area is also called the Lower Bay with the section from Napanee to Trenton called the Upper Bay.
Personally I think 2 lines should be allowed from labour day till the end of the season and again from the spring opener till the open of bass season. No changing the limits just the number of lines.
