Can anyone tell me the easiest way to get to McFarland's Conservation Area? I will be coming from the west end (GTA).

PS - I will purchase a map for the Quinte area very soon.

Thanks

Take the exit off the 401 for rte 49 and go to Picton and turn left at the funny intersection and head to the Glenora Ferry, you'll pass the Picton Harbour Launch Ramp (good ramp) and head east. Look for the sign for Conservation Area and there you are.

The dock is out, but you should be able to launch there, a friend launched there last week during the high winds- it wasn't pretty but he got the boat in.

Hope that helps

Thanks a lot for the reply - either boat launch seems good I guess.
