Got out a couple of days ago from Picton. Arrived at 7am to find picton harbour and picton bay completely froze over with about 1/2 inch of ice. A few had headed out already and broke a path. Started out at Keiths shoal and headed east. Picked up 1 fish about 5 lbs on a white RR set 200 back. Continued to troll east to about the bat cave. Then picked up and moved back and tried another pass but more north. Nothing on this pass. Then decided to head back to keith where we picked up the first fish and no luv there. Called it a day by 1:00. There were quite a few boats out and didnt see the nets out much.
