Hi guys, gals / anglers....

Just a quick report. On ramp and water conditions in Picton /Glenora Ferry area.
The Picton ramp is locked up solid with ice (has been for a few days) ...the Ferry launch is still useable for now.

I'm finishing up my last charters now as Mother Nature is gonna win again. As of today there was solid ice from Mc Farlands south and from Sherman's area north. There was one much larger boat that went by today and tried to head towards Deseronto he turned back after he reported the ice at 6inches up the reach. ( I cannot confirm this thickness).

At any rate the impending snow and warmer days may open it all back up. But for now it's like rolling the dice everyday.

If you do decide to take one last "kick at the can" then please let someone know your plan on the water and where you will be fishing. The water temp is 32.4F and the smallest of boating errors can be catastrophic. Additionally don't forget about your fellow boaters and take a few moments to to drain your trailer at the bottom of the ramp before pulling out. An ice covered ramp just results in troubles for everyone.

Best fishes to all!!!!
