Fishermen, please note that the boat launch ramp at the Young's Pt. ferry terminal is not accessible due to ice and snow.

Come on ..really ? Is that due to ice on the water or have they plowed snow up that blocks the ramp ?? Help anyone ... I intended on being there this Sunday .. temps are supposed to be above 0... it sounds like it's going to be a great day weatherwise to finish off the season in the boat ...

Unless it clears up drastically by Sunday I'd look for an alternative.
This morning it was frozen solid out past the end of the breakwall. Tonight alot of it was broken up but would be pretty much
impossible to launch.
Depending on wind I'd look at Finkles in Bath to be your best bet.

Now why would they block the ramp? There is no need for that...someone should call the township and tell them whats going on.Thats just being stupid.

They did not plow the ramp in, it is snow covered but not blocked. The issue is the ice, launch is completely frozen in and launching is not possible. Took this pic at 11am this morning.

Thanks Fish Hunter... (for the bad news) ... I guess that saves us from driving 3 hrs not to be able to launch the boat ... I was really hoping to get out one last time.. well I suppose its time to winterize the boat and pull out the ice hut from the crawlspace..

Finkles launch in Bath is good to go for anyone looking to get out for one last kick at the can. There was probably a dozen guys launched there this morning
