Hours here at Pro Tackle will be 5-5 once there is good ice on the bay.

The only place I know of is Luck's, a gas and convenience store on highway #33 at Carrying Place. Take the Wooler road exit and go south until you come down the hill to the #33 and take a left, it's just a little ways down the road. The minnow quality isn't always great and I don't think they open until around 7:00 AM. They did't like it when I told them to take the 1/2 inch Sticklebacks out of what I was buying. Hopefully someone else will start selling them around the area.

There is Elliots Bait just a couple miles north of the 401 on Hwy 28. I used to get minnows there in the fall, but not sure if they're open in the winter. You could always pick them up the night before if they are open.

Finding live minnows is becoming harder and harder to do each and every year it seems.... Might as well resort to catching your own or using artificials..... Pro Tackle has minnows, and they're off the 401 in belleville, seems like the logical spot to go to before heading out.

There will be four location's in the Belleville area that I'm pretty sure of. Pro tackle on hwy 37 north of the 401 county camo in rossmore just over the bay bridge and then your first right at the lights. Cheshers outdoors on Maitland drive just off hwy 62 two north of the 401 and high falls north of 401 on hwy 62. Not 100% but I have heard all these places will have minnows
