Quinte Fishing

Hey there guys, due to what appears to be a short hardwater season this year me and a few buddies from the Brockville area are looking at heading to Quinte for a day trip this year to make the season count the best we can, however not a single one of us has been there before so basically I'm looking for any and all informational that would be helpful with assisting us in a successful day on the hardwater at Quinte. (Access points, tackle tips, general areas to try, baitshops, anything whatsoever) We are at the moment planning on heading up at the end of January but that is open to interpretation if someone thinks another time would be best. We have looked at guides but at $100+ per person I think well take our chances on our own unless some nice guy on here feels like playing host to a few Brockville boys for the day, I promise were a bunch of good guys haha.
