I was at Potters from sun up to about 2pm today. It's a short easy walk to the green can from the parking lot... I'd say 5 to 10 minutes depending on snow. The bite there was nonexistent today but who knows, it may be good when you and your dad are ready to go. I was sitting on 8 inches of beautiful clear ice, I could see my jig dancing 8 or 9 feet down...too bad no walleyes saw it

p.s. - some kind of cleats or spikes on your boots would be a good idea, I forgot mine today and slipped quite a few times on the perfectly smooth ice... you could easily have played hockey out there today.

You can walk straight out about 150-200 yds and hit 12-15 feet. 20 feet in 10 mins

It's on the map in one of the first few post.
Just north of Sherman's point. On huffs road you can access the ice.
Hope that helps.

Cheers

I JUST BROKE DOWN lol

no seriously, that is VERY nice Golf Guy....

I think we're going to give Deseronto a shot - hopefully we'll have luck. I accidentally kicked a MONSTER back in the hole on him a few years back now and he's never let
me live that down

Hope everyone has a Great Week and Weekend of Fishing!

Hi board member,

I am a new member, just want to try Huffs, I saw from the other site said there is a $5 Parking there, but I saw along the Huffs Rd is all residential or park on the hill. If park on the hill is not a problem but want to know is the ice good for ATV now? appreciate for your helps.
