We have a lot of guest watching the board so I thought I'd bump this, thanks to those who take a moment to check us out and feel free to pass on to anyone you think might want to take a coarse.

For those not from the area, check your local squadron for coarses.

Is the Radio course a one day complete thing with testing included?

Each squadron might do it different but I think if they can get the reading material to you ahead they will do it in a day. You have to learn the phonetic alphabet so that makes it difficult to do in a day.

Learning the phonetic alphabet won't be a problem as I already know it. One benefit of serving in the Canadian Forces.
Most squadrons want to run the course over a few evenings or a couple of days.
Evenings are out for me as I work afternoons.
I wouldn't mind the further drive if I can get it all done in a day.

Give Dave a call, April 25 is a Saturday if that works for you. Instead of a couple evenings he does it on a Saturday.

That far away 25 Apr shouldn't be a problem.
I'll give Dave a call.

Thanks: Rick

Boating Essentials February 4 to April 8

Starts this week, half way through you write for the boating card. Then it goes on to charts and navigating, anchoring etc.
