Fished huffs Tuesday aft, 2-6. 25 ft water, marked enough, but slow bite. landed a small 1 pounder only, and lost another small one. got both on a very small Mr. Champ I was using on a 2nd rod, with an even smaller hook I rigged up for slow bites or perch.

this morning hit Huff's again but fished 18 ft to start. Again had decent markings but slow bite. 3 guys, 3 fish, all under 2 pounds. 2 more lost, but could tell they were also small. caught 1 on a buckshot and the other 2 on small rigs. got slow around 10:30 so went to 35 ft of water and had lots of markings all afternoon and into the night, but no takers. guys around seemed to have the same luck ... they were not biting well for us.

Off the water for a week, hoping it's better when I try again. good luck!

oh, also, ice was consistent between 5 and 7 inches.

Fished huffs this afternoon as well. Caught one about 5 lbs at 4:30 and from 5:00 to dark the flasher was lit up with three to four marks at a time. Lots of fish coming right up but wouldn't commit!
