Went out off Wagner's Sunday Jan 18. Three of us went 3 for 4. 1 eater and 2 in the 8-9 lb range. Basically hooked everything tha bit. Sorry no pics. Fished about half way across between Big Island and Pt Anne. Larger fish released. Eater kept for the frying pan. Close to 1 foot of ice. Pressure crack right the shore by Wagner's. I broke a trail across it with ATV.

Out for the first time this year(Mon 19th). Brother had good success at Wagers so decided to check it out. There by 2ish and only one truck in the parking lot. Walked to check access and could see that there had been a lot of use. With mild weather the hill/ramp was glare ice and bare ground. at bottom a bunch of hoses? and a large metal can frozen to the left. Moderate pressure ridge at shoreline. Rough access thru ridge straight ahead and a better one 90 degrees to the right. Looked like a lot of water and slush out on there. Walk out a ways and went thru into 2-4 inches of water! decided that not good for the snowmobile. OK down the hill but might be a tough go to get up the hill. Being alone thought better of trying. Wonder if something can be done to improve shoreline access at bottom of hill??

Decided to see what Potters offered. Parking lot A-OK but there was a large area of exposed gravel and rocks making for a tough go for access by a snowmobile! Would work for ATV and a walk-on if one traveled light. Again it looked like lots of water out there.

Colder temps would probably make on ice conditions better for traveling by ATV/snowmobile

One bright spot of my adventure was that I didn't loose any minnows

Rodbender, good decision to not go down the hill as who knows if your machine would of made it back up. Better safe than sorry.
