Hi all
New to this board, which is GREAT BTW!
Looking for a little info on where to launch and fish.
Heading down to the Bay this Saturday (the 13) from Ottawa. Been to the Bay twice before, launched once at the park in Deseronto. fished down Long Reach to Shermans. Second time, we launched under the bridge and fished the bridge area to Telegraph narrows. Both previous trips were in mid October several years ago. Caught a nice 'Eye at Shermans, but the trip towards the narrows only resulted in some Sheephead!
Should we drive to Picton to launch and fish, or is Long Reach starting to produce yet.
Thanx in advance

Hey Gangtroll. Just take a few minutes to read some of the posts. Everything you need is right before your eyes! Good luck!

Thanks for the reply
I 've read the posts, and noticed no one seems to be launching in Deseronto. Never been to Picton....was wondering if it was worth the extra drive to get there. If so, could you offer directions to the launch there.
Thanks again

Hey gangtroll,

If you are coming from Ottawa way, you might be better off launching from Glenora. Not too sure on teh directions but if you have a road map, it will lead you the way to the Glenora Ferry and reight beside the ferry is the launch. Other wise, the launch in Picton is simple to get to. From the 401, head south to Deseronto, cross over bridge to get to Picton. Once at stop sign in Picton, turn left. You will see a sign for the Glenora Ferry follow it til you see the marina. Turn left at the marina, this is the launch.
