So I took the boys out for the first time this year in our spot down the road and marked some fish.. had a bite or 2 and then they got wet and cold so I brought them in for dinner and planned to head back for the night bite... come back and huts gone.. auger.. gone.. spud and bucket gone.. there were 2 trucks parked there when i left... I know them to see them.. my auger is etched with my name and my hut is unmistakable ... I also do something.g others usually dont do.. I HAVE a trail cam in a tree on shore not more than 50 feet from where I was set up. I saw u out there with your light and I missed u by like an hour. I'm not saying.g anyone on here would be so low as to steal a little 2 man hut that I use for when I take my 2 and 3 year old boys out.. and my dads old jiffy that I guarantee you can't figure out how to run because it has its own old peculiarities. I offer a $100 dollar reward for the return... I don't have faces on the cam but have enough for an.identification but I don't want to involve the police. Pm me and ill give you my address down the road and drop it at the end of the driveway and that's the end of it.. I really hope there is more to some people out here... thanks for any info

I appreciate the input.. I can see my hut/spot from my house.. it is a very small area and has never proven to be an issue in the past. Huts are left all the time and to my knowledge have never been messed with in this area.. I have been observing a lot of new faces there this year as word of mouth usually works.. but ya lesson learned I guess.. can't even trust leaving something infront to your house anymore.... they took advantage of darkness and obviously didn't know I live right there.. I could see their lights and just missed getting there. Figured it was someone else packing in, and they really were packing it in... Shitty buzz I guess lol

I hear that.. I have a cottage up north and have leaving anything there.. again trail cams are helpful if the people are caught with the items.. but ya I'm gonna put.a.call in and see what I can do.

I did put a call into quinte west opp and an officer will be in contact with me... also I just got a message from a face book group where I posted this as well and there were 2 people there an hour after I left that saw the hut still there, knowing I was on my way back,
