Quinte Fishing

Just wondering if anybody has found that the walleye in Quinte shy away when you have light on in a portable. I currently have a Clam Legend XL Thermal and it came with the light bar. I have been using it on my home water (Rideau River) and find that there is no problem getting the eyes to come in with the light bar on. I am generally fishing in 10' or less. Any input from Quinte regulars would be much appreciated.

My light bar is always on and I do just fine.

Thanks FM for the response. Based on the successful postings of yours I would feel very comfortable using my light bar on Quinte.
Heading down to fish Thursday and Friday. Solo trip this time.
