I watched a silver Chrysler front wheel drive car drive from Huffs to Foresters Island - not sure if they made it to Deseronto or not, but they were moving pretty fast as they were heading north!

I can't believe what some people do. I need some thick consistent ice before I drive over depths ( and even then I still bring my quad )

the guy who drove who tried to cross the pressure crack at pt anne last weekend ended up dropping his front wheels through the ice. I watched while another truck with chains made repeated tries to get it out. Finally did and i just heard the damage was over 10 grand. Ouch!!!Hope he had comprehensive

i seen that truck too in collins bay! it was pretty much right where the red and green cans are that mark the channel...when i drove by the truck has its lights on and he/she was drilling some holes (by hand) in the blowing snow. today as i went into town, i noticed sticks in the holes that were drilled...maybe he got into them? crappies? who knows...still, i got 42 thousand reasons not to test that out!
