Is there a place to buy minnows near hay bay? I have seen in the thread at the top there is only access from the southern shore. Is there a shop I could hit on my way there if I'm coming from Kingston way.

Or is there an access point on the north shore allowing me to stop at the dew drop in near huffs?

Thanks

The Brown Bear should have minnows in Kingston. He is located on Development Drive if you are coming from Kingston, otherwise it's probably the Dew Drop for you. Also SFRC is supposed to have minnows just south of Harrowsmith.

There is access from the north shore Hay Bay at Shermans point at the end of Bayview drive. There is also access at cuthill lane at the very east end of Hay Bay as well but very shallow at that end 4-8FOW. Not sure of any bait stores south of Hay Bay but as mentioned earlier if coming from Kingston Brown bear tackle has minnows, great people there. http://www.brownbeartacklebox.com/
I have also dealt with Dew drop inn and they are great people as well

Dew drop in is literally 5 minutes from huffs and less than 10 from shermans.

Thanks everybody I was actuply coming from ottawa and I stopped in at bear tackle in Kingston. Ended up catching three jumbo perch and my pb Walter at 28.5inch 111.28lbs. Going to try a spot on the other side tomrow as I will be coming from Peterborough in the morning. Thinking Trenton or Kingston is the bite was any good for the morning anyways.

Tight lines animal

Wow! I'm sure you had to drill quite a large hole to fit a 111 pound Walley through!
