Hello all, I would just like to introduce myself, I have been looking at the board for a while now and reading daily. I am from just outside Kitchener, in Baden. The past few years I have been fishing simcoe alot, but this year would like to give some eyes a try. I'm not asking for any honeyholes or anything, just wondering if somebody could point me in the right direction for this week as I realize the fish move constantly. I have looked at the map of access points and been looking where guys have been catching fish and looks like shermans has been one of the better spots. Any updates on where the fish are this week would be great as I have a 3-4 hour drive and hope to get on some fish. I plan to fish sunday morning, and then possibly move to a different spot in the afternoon. Thanks alot for any help.

Cheers

Welcome aboard! I haven't been out myself in the last couple weeks but from what I've been reading, things have been a touch on the slow side for most. However keep checking in, lots of great lads and ladies sharing information, videos and photos as you've probably already noticed. Looks like there's good ice pretty much everywhere on the bay now, be safe and good luck!

Thanks steelcrazee. Also I should add I will be walking, but don't mind a good hike if there's fish at the end of it.

You may also want to try Huffs, which is also off CR9 and just north of Sherman's. Either way Sherman's or Huffs you can be on fish within walking distance from shore. Might be a bit more of hike with this snow storm. Just look for huts and set up in the vicinity without getting too close. Again be safe and good luck!

Alright thanks, I have been looking into Huffs as well, just sounded like its been a bit slow lately. Also been looking into big island, or deseronto. Anyway I will just keep watching and see what everyone is reporting.
