Dear Fishermen,

I was looking for a fish frying skillet. It would be between 20 and 24" in diameter about 3" deep with a 24" handle on it. Made of steel about a 1/8" thick. Not cast iron.

I see Cabelas has them but I would like to know if anyone out there knows where to get them in Ontario. I asked a couple guides in my area and they have had theirs for 15 years and wouldn't give them up for anything. There past suppliers no longer supply them. Seems like the use of these outdoor fire skillets are not in great demand now a days.

I got one from the Canadian Tire in Napanee last summer. I recently looked for another one, in the same spot, for a christmas present, but none to be found. Mabey if you ask management, or search the Canadian Tire monster store in K-town you could scare one up.

Good Luck,

Hearnsy

Thanks for the info on the where abouts of a skillet.

I'll check to see if Canadian Tire in Kingston can special
order one. If not, it give me an excuse to visit Canada's
new Bass Pro Shops. It has the same skillet as Cabelas.

Thanks again,
See you on the ice,
