We had a cottage rented at Perfect Vue for the weekend and fished off of Shermans boat launch the first day. Only managed to land 1 pike around 3-4 pounds. We fished out in front of the cottage the next day, and pretty much the same result. Very slow. We did manage to land 3 or 4 walleye, but unfortunately, they were only about 6 or 7 inches. YES....inches!!! I talked to a bunch of people at Perfect Vue who were renting the other cottages, and they all the same results. No fish!!! They all had quads/sleds and were fishing Shermans and Huffs areas. Walking and pulling was a little tough after the snowfall last Thursday, but not too bad. I would imagine after todays snow, it won't be much fun walking around out there.
