Hi Fellow members,

Planning to wet my line in Trenton this weekend and I know there is parking and ramp near the Arena in Trenton.

Anyone fishing lately near there and how is the ice holding? Some one told me there is pretty high current there and my old man cannot walk too far, is it ok to access to the ice there?

Thanks in advance!

Access there is fine. Ice is good. There are a couple permanent huts there now. One right Infront of the grocery store yesterday.

I'd say ice is good then lol. River is frozen all the way up and north of the CN bridge. You wouldn't catch me north of Dundas bridge though.

The snow is deep, hopefully some snowmobiles will have a path beat down for your Old man to walk on. You don't have to go far to get into deep water. Not sure how the bite is going.

thanks so much for your informations.

I remember there is a Price Chopper beside the ramp, is there any access there. I think there is deepest point right in front of the Price Chopper, if there is an access point there, it is more easy for shottest walk to the access point.

Thanks again!

Just walk straight out from the boat launch at the arena. It's around 16' deep there and not far at all from the grocery store.
