I have been ice fishing quinte pretty steady for the last couple of years and have found it to be a great body of water for hard water action with good days and just as many bad ones if not more. I have put in the time and effort that's for sure!! I have had success but never been able to land a big one threw the ice or had the thrill of having one on.. I decided to try PB and J charters since I have never gone with them before and like changing guides for the reason of picking there brains and listening to what these guys have to say, knowing they practically live on the water and network with each other and stay on top of the changing conditions ( ice, lures, techniques, patterns, fish movement) in my opinion is a huge advantage and time saver for me not living local.
Sat I met up with Joe and Brandon and these guys were great. They were on top of everything and I could tell right from the start not only were they working, but also die hard fishermen like myself. There were a few of us out that day , and they were constantly moving themselves around scouting for fish and trying different techniques to see what would be productive for us all. Nothing better to see when going out with a guide, then when there main priority is safety and catching fish. These guys were on it with great equipment to take take us out on the ice and for ppl needing all equipment they had all and good quality stuff aswell.
All and all the day was great and I finally landed a 10lb Wally my pb on the ice. My buddy also landed a 8lb fish , his new pb aswell. Another guy who was with us landed 3 fish over 10lb!!!!
So needless to say was a awsome day. Not needing a guide for equipment or showing me how to fish I believe the information and techniques you learn from these guys are very valuable and can save you a lot of time to learn on your own!! There are never any guarentees with fishing but having guys who are knowledgeable and good at what they do sure helps and I'm glad to have gone and gained a lot of knowledge and a new PB!!! Can't wait to get out again..

Guide services are the way to do it!!! Went with Jeff C the last few years and we have a blast. Joe, Brandon and Jeff put in the time and know how to find them. Great report and congrats on the PB.
