Headed back to point ann this am. Headed west to Minnie Blakley but couldn't get to close as theres a lot of slush in that area. Set up where the slush ended. Fished for 2 hours with just a few lookers. Decided to move east about half way to trident but out in the middle. Got 1 fish about 8-9 lbs and that was it. Very aggressive hit. Didn't even mark it on the graph, just came in and grabbed it. That was around 10 am hit a gold/orange silda. With all this snow fishing pressure is way down, not another soul in site out there. Last fall I I was thinking about buying a quad for ice fishing but changed my mind when i thought about all the snow we have had the past couple seasons. Went with a sled and am I ever glad I did

Dan, you made the right choice on the taking a sled this weekend . But we only got the Yamaha stuck once all weekend thanks for making us a trail. After fishing @ Huffs with you in the morning, we went to County Shores for the afternoon bite. Me and Mac Blazed a slush trail out to the red can and still got nothing. Not even a mark!
Bike is now in garage covered in 4 inches of ice. A few beers tonight with Mux and the heater going again should get the ice off.

I hope he isn't going melt the ice off in a way he is famous for...although maybe the fish will be attracted to the bike after that.
