Here is a quick report on a 1 day trip to quinte.

Was suppose to get up around 4am Thursday morning but of course me and my brother were already on the road with some Tim's coffee and bagels at 4:00am..hahah

Got to the ferry around 6:30, by the time we got set up it was 7:00> We tough we were hard core fisherman, but when we got to our sport, there was already 4 boats there. As you can see in the pics, the winds were strong, making it difficult to do some trolling.

At 8:00 came our first and only fish of the day. A beautiful 10.5lbs. My biggest walleye ever. I was using a Mann's strech 25+, color black, orange and gold, flatlining aroud 150ft. I figure it was cought in about 25ft of water. Released the walleye after taking a few pictures!

Even with being wet and cold, I would do it again in a heart beat. Just not this year as I got the boat winterize last weekend.

Alain,

What a big mistake you made. Now you have to sit back and read post after post about the fishing meanwhile your boat is winterized. Torture. Well if it really gets to you I suppose you could rent a boat lol!! Nice fish, love to see those fat bellies.

I know way to early to put the boat away..But the wife wanted the boat out of the garage to get her car in. I could always beg for someone to take me and repay him next year by returning the favor.

Wish I was there today!
